The Danger of Need

Humans are fascinated by shiny colorful objects. The many different colors in fruit is nature's way of encouraging consumption. Advertisers use bright, lively colors to acquire our attention in the hope we will purchase their products. In the Garden of Eden, Eve took the forbidden fruit, in part, because the fruit was, "pleasing to the eye." IMAGE 2: Image of the Tree in the Garden. Since the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil had 12 Fruits (Rev.22:1-5), imagine a tree with 12 different fruit. IMAGE 3: Image of the Serpent. Imagine a serpent coiled around the tree with many fruit. The Bible describes the devil as a"fiery red dragon, that Serpent of old, called the Devil." (Rev. 12:1-9). So imagine a shiny, shimering serpent coiled around the tree. IMAGE 4: The Tree of Life. The only trees in our world that never die are "evergreens" they are forever green. IMAGE 5: The Cherub/Angel. The Lord God placed a Cherub at the entrance to the garden to prevent Adam and Eve from eating off the tree of life. IMAGE 6/7: The Flaming Sword/Star. The Lord God also placed a flaming sword, which turned in all directions. IMAGE 8: The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. This is the Xmas Tree. Every year we re-live the fall of mankind, by bowing down and getting the fruit (presents) fallen from the tree. The Danger of Need is a "transposal" of the "Garden of Eden."
